Now looking at sellers by geography, the US was home to 47%, followed by companies based in UK at 10% and Israel and France at 7% each. Additionally, there was meaningful M&A activity in the Middle East. 

 In terms of buyers based on geography, acquirers in the US were responsible for 53% of transactions followed by the United Kingdom at 8%. France represented the headquarters of 6% of total acquirers while Canada made up 4% and Netherlands and Israel both represented 3% of acquirers. Dealmaking was international with 32% of transactions being cross-border.
