In Canada, StandardFusion, an enterprise cloud-based GRC platform, was sold to Wolters Kluwer, a global provider of professional information and software solutions, for reported $51.8M or 9 times revenue. The acquisition integrates advanced risk-mapping and automated workflows into the TeamMate platform, enabling medium and large enterprises to achieve continuous, data-driven oversight in increasingly complex regulatory environments. 

In another interesting January deal, Spain-based AI-powered cyber threat intelligence software provider Iriusrisk was bought by ThreatModeler Software to bring together top two enterprise threat modeling platforms to accelerate innovation and deliver value. 

Some representative transactions included the acquisition of Germany-based a mobile application protection software suite company Build38 by US-based security firm OneSpan in January to strengthens its app shielding offering by integrating Build38’s Self-protection technology.
